The Distributed Computing Foundation handled premier level sponsorship and organized the ChessBrain side of the event. The World Record attempt was hosted and sponsored in part by the Danish Unix User's Group (DKUUG) and the NordU USENIX conference.

Y3K Secure Enterprise Software, Inc. was the premier sponsor and provided the use of their secure communication software which we used to communicate with members of our core ChessBrain team during the actual event!

Eight Hundred Pound Gorilla (EHPG Inc.) provided the hosting for this ChessBrain website and the primary ChessBrain SuperNode server. EHPG has supported ChessBrain for two years, and its founder, Gavin Roy has been a core member of our team supporting our network needs.
